Location: Manchester
Hours - 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday ( 37 hours ) Occasional Saturday working will be required
Payrate £12.86 per hour

You’ll play a key administrative and front-line support role that helps users access justice with clarity, care, and consistency.
What you'll be doing:
• Undertake administrative tasks to prepare for, facilitate, and conclude hearings
• Support users and stakeholders via face to face, telephone (incoming and outbound), and written correspondence in a range of formats
• Use service scripts and knowledge articles to signpost users to the right support and provide clear, specific information-especially where needs are complex
• Follow complaints policies and procedures, responding quickly to reduce escalation and updating relevant systems as required
• Provide operational support using standard operating procedures to meet performance targets and maintain service standards
• Handle case files with accurate data entry, secure information management, and compliance with retention/data loss protocols
• Support jury service tasks (selection, deferral, reassignment, attendance tracking) and process related expenses and court fees
• Assist with listing and scheduling, responding to urgent matters and following listing policies
• Support enforcement procedures, including financial assessments and fine collection support, plus basic statistical/financial reporting
• Contribute to health and safety operations (e.g., PEEPs, facility checks, issue logging, and key/safety governance under team leader guidance)
• Identify risks relating to HMCTS buildings and inform the Senior Person on Site (SPoS) when needed
