We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Assembly Operative to join our clients growing production team in Brough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and a positive attitude to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Purpose of the Role

To assemble a range of company products to the required quality standards and within pre-determined timescales.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

·        Consistent assembly of products to a high-quality standard using SOPs

·        Carrying out in-process quality inspections

·        Bagging and packaging products in line with documentation

·        Reading and understanding drawings, manufacturing instructions, process documentation, and specifications

·        Operating relevant machinery, including semi-automated equipment where required

·        Following all Health & Safety procedures and company guidelines

·        Supporting the wider production team and carrying out other duties as reasonably requested

Essential Qualities & Skills

·        Good level of English and Maths, both written and verbal

·        Ability to follow written instructions and processes accurately

·        Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

·        Good hand dexterity and eye-to-hand coordination

·        Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining high standards

·        Able to stay focused and work efficiently to deadlines and targets

·        Strong communication skills

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·        Hardworking and dependable attitude

Experience

·        Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential as full training may be provided.
