Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver

Location: Enfield

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay: £13.50 per hour

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative /FLT Driver (Counterbalance + Clamp experience) to join a busy storage and warehouse operation in Enfield.

This is a hands-on role focused on storage, stock movement and container unloading. The successful candidate must be confident operating a forklift within a busy warehouse environment and, importantly, have solid experience unloading containers.

You will be responsible for safely moving and storing stock, assisting with goods-in and goods-out, and supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Clamp Truck FLT safely and efficiently
• Unloading containers and vehicles confidently and safely
• Moving and positioning stock within the warehouse
• Loading and unloading goods
• Storing stock correctly and efficiently
• Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations
• Organising stock and maintaining accurate storage areas
• Maintaining high standards of warehouse cleanliness and health & safety
• Assisting with general warehouse duties when required

Requirements

• Valid FLT Certificate – Counterbalance or Reach
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience
• Strong experience unloading containers – essential
• Confident and competent operating FLT equipment
• Good understanding of warehouse and storage operations
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on warehouse environment
