Class 2 Skip Driver – Temp to Perm

The Best Connection is recruiting an experienced Class 2 Driver for a long-term position with our established client in Wimbledon.

This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity, offering full-time work and the chance to secure a permanent position. Previous skip-driving experience is not required, as full training will be provided.

Duties include for Class 2 Skip Driver:

• Delivering and collecting skips throughout the local area
• Operating the skip vehicle safely and efficiently
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Completing all required paperwork
• Following road transport and health and safety regulations
• Providing professional customer service at delivery and collection sites
• Reporting any vehicle defects or operational issues promptly

Driver requirements for Class 2 Skip Driver:

• Valid UK Category C/Class 2 driving licence
• At least six months’ recent Class 2 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A reliable and professional approach
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A strong commitment to safe working

Skip-driving experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
