Removals Van Drivers – Ongoing Temporary Work

We’re currently recruiting reliable Removals Van Drivers for a well-established distribution contract based in the Hayes area.

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday and flexibility over weekend

Working Hours: Start times from 07:00 - working 8 -10hrs per day

Job Responsibilities for a removals van drivers:

• Driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle locally and nationwide. 
• You will also act as a porter, which involves loading the contents of one property and unloading at another.
• Contents includes furniture, goods & boxes up to 25kg.
• Physically fit.
• Dismantle & reassemble customer’s furniture.
• Loading & unloading vans/properties & storage units.
• Wrapping / covering / protecting customer’s furniture & belongings.
• Packing boxes

Pay Rates:

Monday to Friday: £14.00 - £16.50 per hour ( Weekday and Weekend rates)

Job Requirements:

• Punctuality & reliability are essential.
• A good work ethic and a true team player
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt from day to day
• Good attention to detail
• Handles goods with due care and attention
• Should have experience driving 3.5t luton vehicles, or similar
