MULTIPLE VAN DRIVER POSITIONS AVAILABLE - HAYES

The Best Connection are currently recruiting Van Drivers for a large, well-established automotive parts distribution company based in Hayes.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a fixed rota, offering consistent hours and regular start times.

Pay Rate

• £12.71 per hour
• Ongoing, long-term work
• Equivalent annual salary of approximately £26,436 based on a 40-hour working week (excluding overtime)

Various Shift Times Available

We are recruiting for drivers on the following fixed shift patterns:

• 04:00 Start
• 05:00 Start
• 08:30 Start
• 09:30 Start

Driver Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect automotive parts to trade customers.
• Pick and load your own vehicle prior to departure.
• Collect customer payments where required.
• Use handheld PDA devices to manage deliveries and collections.
• Liaise with the Transport Manager to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently and on schedule.
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Support the wider team when required.
• Complete all work-related documentation accurately and within deadlines.

Driver Requirements

• Valid Category B (UK Driving Licence).
• Previous van driving experience preferred.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Previous experience using handheld scanners or PDA devices is advantageous.
