ABOUT THE ORGANISATION

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Working from home and in the community
  • Working with individuals living with a disability and/or complex mental health presentations
  • Supporting individuals that have been referred to the service
  • TAILORING your approach in order to develop strategies that will help individuals to reach their goals
  • Providing subsequent interventions to assist in activities of daily living
  • Providing psychological interventions and behaviour support to a wide range of ages
  • Conducting psychometric, behavioural and functional assessments.
  • Ensuring that the allied health team works toward meeting client goals within the NDIS plans

  • Works effectively yet independently as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Interacts with all key stakeholders associated with this position
  • MUST have an interest within disability / behavioural management
  • Ability to work effectively with people who have a range of functional abilities as well as complex needs

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
  • Current membership with the Psychology Board of Australia - highly recommended
  • Recent Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Full rights to work in Australia
  • Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
