Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Refine systems and methods to continually improve production scheduling so that the most efficient plans are issued to the factory.
  • Proactively work alongside Demand and Supply teams to ensure alignment to the MPS signal and communicate any reason for deviation from plan.
  • Liaise with Supply Planning on any constraints that may impact the MPS.
  • Deputise for the Production Scheduling Manager during periods of absence/holidays.
  • Work closely with the Production Scheduling Manager to support day-to-day activities.
  • Monitor potential “low life” stock and work with the demand team to resolve.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks related to supply chain disruptions over the short-term horizon.
  • Review and react to changes in customer priorities as required.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor production processes and adjust schedules to address any issues or delays.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Good knowledge of a supply chain environment
  • Experience of production planning
  • Key User in M3
  • IT skills e.g. Excel, MRP systems (Optimity)
  • Attention to detail, commitment to high standards.
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-moving
  • Planning and organising – able to forward plan.
  • Adapting and responding to change
  • Be an effective communicator.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills
