Roles & Responsibilities:
- Refine systems and methods to continually improve production scheduling so that the most efficient plans are issued to the factory.
- Proactively work alongside Demand and Supply teams to ensure alignment to the MPS signal and communicate any reason for deviation from plan.
- Liaise with Supply Planning on any constraints that may impact the MPS.
- Deputise for the Production Scheduling Manager during periods of absence/holidays.
- Work closely with the Production Scheduling Manager to support day-to-day activities.
- Monitor potential “low life” stock and work with the demand team to resolve.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks related to supply chain disruptions over the short-term horizon.
- Review and react to changes in customer priorities as required.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules to address any issues or delays.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Good knowledge of a supply chain environment
- Experience of production planning
- Key User in M3
- IT skills e.g. Excel, MRP systems (Optimity)
- Attention to detail, commitment to high standards.
- Be self-motivated with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-moving
- Planning and organising – able to forward plan.
- Adapting and responding to change
- Be an effective communicator.
- Strong interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills
