Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage all site construction activities, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and according to the project plan and building regulations.
  • Assist the contracts Manager with all details of the project, consistently reporting progress and any issues that may arise.
  • Preparing delivery programmes, including labour resources, material requirements, timescales, design inputs and commissioning.
  • Maintain and promote Health and safety policies in accordance with legislation, conducting regular risk assessments and site inspections as necessary.
  • Co-ordinate sub-contractors and staff, ensuring the project runs as per the specifications and schedules. Conduct regular site meetings to monitor and manage progress and resolve issues.
  • Monitor quality consistently throughout the project, ensuring all work is completed to standards, client expectations and building specifications.
  • Maintain and provide accurate reports of project progress, health and safety and variations to plans as necessary.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential risks or issues on site efficiently to minimise project delays.
  • Adopt and promote a safety-first culture, ensuring all work carried out by yourself and others complies with company standards and legislative health, safety and environmental requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • CSCS Card (Desirable)
  • First Aid at Work
  • Strong technical understanding of the construction industry, including the processes, materials, methods and building regulations and standards.
  • Proficient in IT.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify potential risks to the project.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
