Laser Machinist               

Ripley

Up to £15 per hour

7am – 4.30pm Monday – Friday (45 hrs p/w)

Overtime paid at TX1/2 after 40 hours

Permanent

Summary: Laser Machinist  

Gi Pro are working with an engineering client based in Ripley, that are recruiting for a Laser Machinist  on a permanent basis

Working a day shift 7am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday, including 5 hours per week at Overtime rate. Paying between £12 - £15 per hour (Experience depending)

The company:  Manufacture and Install storage solutions  

The role: Laser Machinist  

• Set and operate a Bodor Laser Machine
• Working from engineering drawings
• Identify the correct tools for the Job and change the inserts.
• Quality Inspection of parts produced.
• Machine maintenance
• Manufacturing storage solutions for online retailers and warehouses
• Working with steel & aluminium
• Reporting any defects or issues to management

The candidate: Laser Machinist  

• Laser machine experienced preferred.
• Press Brake experience would be beneficial but not essential.
• Confident setting and operating engineering machinery
• Worked within a team leader or senior position or looking for that next step
