GI Pro are working in partnership with an aerospace company, based in Wigston. We are recruiting for multiple Engineering machine seters to work a 3 shift weekly rotating pattern.

Shifts: Engineering Machine Setter Operator      

3-shift rotation.

Mornings: 5:45am - 3:45pm Monday – Thursday, 5:45am - 10:45am Friday                

Afternoons:1:45pm - 9:45pm Monday – Thursday, 10:45am - 3:45pm Friday                     

Nights: 9:45pm - 5:45am Monday – Thursday, 3:45pm - 8:45pm Friday

 

Please note throughout your training period you will need to commit to a day shift.

 

Job Description: Engineering Machine Setter Operator      

  • Operating and Setting EDM, CMM or grinding Machines, in accordance with the agreed specification.
  • Running 5 machines at one time 
  • Read and work from technical drawings.
  • Quality inspecting parts through the use of various gauges such as verniers, micrometres, inspection clocks etc
  • Consistently achieving all targets (production, quality, housekeeping etc), as set by the Cell Manager.

 

The Ideal Candidate: Engineering Machine Setter Operator      

  • Previous experience in manufacturing/engineering environment
  • Previous experience operating EDM, or CNC Milling machines
  • Good time management

 

The benefits: Engineering Machine Setter Operator      

  • 33 days holiday allowance – 7 days at which are statutory days. This increases with length of service.
