Salary: GBP13.58 - GBP14.45 per hour + Shift allowance of 12.5%

Double days shift – rotating earlies and lates

Week one Mon-Thurs 5:30am-2pm & Fri 5:30am-1:30pm.

Week two Mon-Thurs 2pm-10:30pm & Fri – day off

Overtime paid at a premium

Summary: Quality Inspector

GI Pro are working with a leading Aerospace client in Leicester and are recruiting for a Quality Inspector on a permanent basis.

Working a days and afternoons weekly rotating pattern.

Paying £13.58 - £14.45 (plus 12.5% shift allowance)

Overtime paid at a premium - x.1.38 in the week & x 1.4 Saturday & Sunday

Permanent contract with multiple benefits including PPE provided and 33 days holiday including stat

The job: Quality Inspector

  • Use of common inspection measuring equipment including, but not limited to, micrometers, calipers, shadow graph, DTI, plug and ring gauges, thread measuring equipment, etc. to perform required inspections
  • Identify and segregate non-conforming product per established procedures
  • Prepare parts for NDT and dimensional Inspection
  • Move completed work to next staging area
  • Identify and segregate non-conforming product per established procedures
  • Manual handling requirement including heavy lifting work
  • Other Inspection duties as required

 

The candidate

  • As a quality Inspector you will be expected to have quality control experience within aerospace or a sheet a metal field
  • Ability to read technical engineering drawings
  • Ability to select the correct gauge type for the tolerance being checked
  • Ability to maintain paper & electronic records
