Robert Half Technology are assisting a global FTSE 100 retail organisation with offices in London to recruit a IAM Engineer (experience with One Identity Manager required)
A IAM Engineer is required to design, implement, and maintain our Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using One Identity Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in One Identity Manager, with a deep understanding of IAM principles, best practices, and associated compliance standards. You will be responsible for configuring, deploying, and optimising IAM workflows, ensuring the security of user identities, and managing access control throughout the organisation.
Role
- The IAM Engineer will Design and Implementation: Develop and implement IAM solutions leveraging One Identity Manager, including user provisioning, role management, and identity life cycle processes.
- Configuration and Customisation: Configure workflows, customise modules, and manage integration with various systems and directories (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP, SQL, and Cloud services).
- User Management and Provisioning: Ensure efficient user life cycle management, including on boarding, off boarding, and access reviews, while maintaining high security and compliance standards.
- Access Control and Compliance: Support compliance initiatives, including SOX, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements by enforcing role-based access controls and maintaining audit trails.
- Troubleshooting and Optimisation: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within One Identity Manager, and continuously optimise IAM processes for performance and scalability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT Security, DevOps, HR, and other teams to ensure alignment on identity and access policies and requirements.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation, including system configurations, workflows, and end-user guides.
Profile
- The IAM Engineer 1-2+ years of experience with One Identity Manager (or similar IAM solutions).
- Previous experience with Safeguard
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts, user provisioning, role management, and identity governance.
- Proficiency in configuring One Identity Manager, including policies, workflows, and integration.
- Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, SQL, and various authentication protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID).
- Familiarity with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, VBScript) for automation.
- Knowledge of security standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
