Assembly/Sewing - Chadderton (Production - Chadder) Chadderton, England

We are looking for 2 assembly operatives for our new client in the Chadderton area, this role is temporary to permanent starting at £9.62 per hour and can go to £10.88 per hour once fulll trained. Working hours are week 1 Monday to Friday 6:00am till 2:10pm and week two 2:00pm till 10:10pm Monday to Friday.
Key Duties
- Assembling items
- Sewing using sewing machines
- Prepare and pack manufactured goods
- Inspect product where appropriate and isolate non-conforming products as required
- Produce and store manufacturing samples for quality purposes
- Ensure all goods are properly marked, stored and logged on the system and produce labels as required
- Ensure unused raw materials are properly labelled and placed in the designated area
- Institute good housekeeping practices and clean areas at all times and ensure that the work area is ready for the next shift
- Ensure the Company’s Health and Safety Policy is adhered to at all times
