Location: Reading, RG1-1HE Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Pay rate: £12.86ph

Our Client is looking for an Admin Officer who can deliver confident customer service, clear communication, and strong administrative support-face to face, by phone, and in writing.
What you’ll be doing:
• Check and maintain accurate vacancy details, avoiding template errors
• Undertake administrative tasks to prepare for, facilitate and help conclude all types of hearings
• Provide support and signposting to users and stakeholders via face to face engagement, incoming/outbound telephone contact, and correspondence in multiple formats
• Use HMCTS service scripts and knowledge articles to guide users to the right services with clear, specific information-especially where needs may be complex
• Follow complaints policies and procedures, responding promptly to prevent escalation and updating OPTIC as required
• Support operational duties using standard operating procedures to meet performance targets and maintain service standards
• Handle case files with accurate data entry and secure information management, complying with retention and data loss protocols
• Assist with jury service tasks (selection, deferral, reassignment, attendance tracking), and process related expenses and court fees
• Support listing and scheduling, including urgent responsiveness and adherence to listing policies
• Assist with enforcement support, including financial assessments, fine collection support, and producing basic statistical/financial reports
• Contribute to health and safety operations (PEEPs, facility checks, issue logging, and key/safety governance under team leader guidance)
