The Role
Our client is seeking a large multinational firm that provides a range of financial services, including advisory, investment, and asset management solutions. It serves a diverse set of clients worldwide, focusing on strategic planning, market operations, and long-term financial growth.

What you’ll do

  • Design and deliver scalable, resilient systems using modern and legacy technologies where required
  • Develop RESTful APIs to enable automation and self-service capabilities
  • Apply machine learning techniques to enhance infrastructure and platform solutions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and SMEs to assess current systems and define future architecture
  • Support migration planning and execution across complex technical environments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, communicating solutions clearly to diverse stakeholders


What you bring

  • Strong Python expertise, including building REST API servers and applying machine learning in production
  • Experience with distributed messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ or Celery
  • Proven ability to design scalable, API-led architectures across complex environments
  • Sound analytical thinking with effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders across global teams
  • Exposure to infrastructure environments, including backup, storage, UNIX/Windows systems, and technologies such as Kubernetes or OpenShift
