Assistant Supply Chain Analyst x 2 – Chandlers Ford - Temporary role to start ASAP for 4 months - £17.76 - £18.71 per hour DOE – Hybrid role working in the office 3 days a week and 2 days from home

This role is ideal for someone who has either gained some exposure in a supply chain/stock control environment or already has experience and is looking to further develop their impact and commercial understanding.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and manage forecasting and replenishment to maximise availability
  • Deliver stock and inventory targets in line with sales plans
  • Raise, manage and amend import and domestic orders
  • Monitor forecasting system outputs and manage order proposals
  • Maintain accurate stock flow across stores and distribution centres
  • Analyse data to identify trends, forecast accuracy, and opportunities for improvement
  • Provide insight on key KPIs (availability, stock levels, inventory days)
  • Manage vendor relationships and support performance reviews
  • Ensure smooth stock flow during range changes, promotions, and events
  • Produce reports and support decision-making across supply chain and commercial teams

About You

  • Experience in supply chain, stock control, merchandising, or a similar analytical role (retail/FMCG desirable)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and spot trends
  • Understanding of forecasting, replenishment, and supply chain KPIs
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in driving performance through data
  • Experience with forecasting systems is advantageous but not essential
