Solutions Architect – D365/Azure/Cloud – Remote Working

As a Solutions Architect you are responsible for creating solution designs and ensuring the delivery software solutions that adhere to those designs. You will be working with a variety of Microsoft cloud platforms; Dynamics 365, Azure, Modern Workplace (Teams/Sharepoint), as well as Bespoke/Integration. You will utilise your knowledge and experience of these technologies and capabilities to meet the business, service level and software architecture needs of the client in the most cost-effective and secure manner.

The role will be mainly remote, with the expectation to attend client site and the office when required.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

• Strong Solutions Architect background, ideally working in one of our key sectors or at another Microsoft Partner.
• Carry out the role of Solution Architect for complex IT projects
• Act as Design Authority for complex IT projects.
• Create solutions utilising D365, Power Platform, Azure Storage and Data Services, Azure Application Services.
• Maintain the Architecture Repositories supporting best practice, frameworks and building blocks across a multi team environment.
• Strong understanding of technology trends.
• Manage Decision Requests processes.
• Mentor and guided staff on the use of Architecture Best Practice.
• Strong technical leadership and governance experience.

Key Skills of the Role:

• Demonstrable experience of implementing integrated D365 leveraging Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, PSA, Marketing, Omni-Channel, Portals.
• Strong working experience and understanding of edge technologies commonly implemented alongside D365 such as:
• Power Platform
• PowerBI
• ClickDimentions
• Document Core Pack
• Dynamics Portals

• Demonstrable experience of implementing integrated web applications and services utilising technologies such as ASP.NET/MVC/.Net Core.
• Knowledge of frameworks and platforms such as Entity Framework, Microsoft Well Architected Framework
• Strong DevOps experience with hands on build and release pipeline at least 2 years.
• Demonstrable experience of designing and implementing solutions leveraging Azure Platforms and services:
  • Azure Integration Services
  • Azure Synapse/Data Factory
  • Azure Storage
  • Azure Application Services

Crimson are offering a salary of up to £65,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.
