Technical IT Business Analyst – Cloud/0365 – Walsall

Technical IT Business Analyst required for a leading organisation based in Walsall, where you will work closely with internal stakeholders and clients across many areas of my client’s business to define and manage requirements for a number of projects and initiatives. You will assist in managing these requirements through the full lifecycle of delivery. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key part in an exciting cloud transformation programme.

The ideal candidate will have extensive Business Analyst experience and will have experience with a variety of platforms and software, preferably Office 365/Power Apps and other legacy systems

Key Responsibilities of the role

• Responsibility for defining and managing project scope, and identifying the short/long term project benefits
• Map and optimise processes, writing user stories, and contribute to the overall business cases.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels including clients, and ensures requirements traceability to business benefits.
• Requirements elicitation and management, and mapping/optimising processes.
• Liaising and working with third parties, and ability to facilitate large or complex group discussions.

Key Skills of the role

• Previous experience in a challenging technical business analyst role
• Experience of software development projects/implementations
• Experience of a variety of software development methodologies, such as Iterative, Waterfall & Agile.
• Comfortable with working collaboratively and ability to share knowledge across business areas.
• Takes ownership and resolves problems, and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Ability to remain calm and resilient, even under pressure and with challenging timescales.

Salary

The salary for this position is between £45,000 – £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits
