Junior/Mid-Level Solution Architect – Azure – Egham, Surrey

Junior/Mid-Level Solution Architect required for a well-known international organisation based in Egham, Surrey, where you will be responsible for overseeing the translation of business and technical requirements into system blueprints, proposals, technical tasks and development stories. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global brand on powerful solutions and systems that support its world-wide business operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone from an engineering background who has recently started out on their architectural career. The ideal candidate will have excellent experience working with Azure Cloud Technology, Restful APIs and JSON, and you will be experienced with the development of both high and low-level designs.

Key Responsibilities in the role:

• Gather and identify solution needs, assisting in the definition of the architecture.
• Define, create and evaluate processes. Design solutions using knowledge of business strategy, security, technologies and architectural methods.
• Develop, document and maintain overall view of architectural blueprints.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging architectural methods and technologies for application to the environment.
• Collaborate with software engineers on the direction for the development of solutions or enhancements.

Key experience required:

• Experience of Azure Service Bus, APIM, Key Fault, Azure Functions, Azure/SQL Server
• Extensive experience engaging in the development of both high and low-level design
• Experience working with ARM Templates, C#, JSON, RESTful Services, .NET Framework
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Salary

The salary for this position is up to £75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits.
