About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has recently completed an Engineering-based degree or placement and is eager to build a career in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

You’ll be based in the Engineering Office on the production factory floor, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to real-time operations. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to continuous improvement, efficiency, and innovation.

This role is central to driving performance across the site by providing production information, analysis, and communication to support KPI delivery and continuous improvement. You’ll support the Production Manager and Senior Management Team with planning, systems analysis, and process support, while developing a robust communication platform to ensure data-driven decision-making.

 

Working Hours:

  • Monday & Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday to Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Includes a 30-minute lunch break
  • This is a days-based role (no shifts)

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide process data analysis and a communication strategy to focus on KPIs and performance indicators
  • Identify trends and use data to drive performance improvements
  • Implement a communication platform to deliver timely, actionable insights to decision-makers
  • Support the Production Manager, Shift Management Teams, Engineering Manager, and Senior Management Team
  • Coordinate planning and communication across production and engineering teams
  • Lead and support improvement projects, ensuring learnings are shared and sustained
  • Manage action logs and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Oversee the Routine Management System across operational teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety and production system reviews
  • Manage KPI communication plans across all site functions
  • Track and monitor materials, consumables, and supplies for packaging, quality, and engineering

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in an Engineering-related discipline
  • Strong data analysis and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Understanding of complex engineering processes and ability to simplify them
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement tools and methodologies
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with strong time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
