Are you ready to launch your engineering career offshore? We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Vessel Stimulation Engineer to join our dynamic team aboard the Island Patriot Vessel in Esbjerg. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fluid testing, QA/QC processes, and vessel-based engineering operations in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct laboratory testing of fluids and materials to support vessel stimulation operations
- Assist senior engineers with QA/QC documentation, chemical reconciliations, and job reporting
- Operate and maintain testing equipment in the vessel laboratories
- Support R&D initiatives, fluid development, and vessel improvement projects
- Uphold HSEQ standards and ensure safe handling of chemicals and equipment
- Learn stimulation modelling software and North Sea Ecotoc regulations
- Step into the Vessel Stimulation Engineer role when required during extended operations
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in an Engineering discipline
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental responsibilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Organised, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
Desirable Experience
- Prior laboratory experience
- Familiarity with fracture design concepts
- Exposure to STIMPLAN or pressure analysis software
