Salary: GBP30000 - GBP30000 per annum

Are you ready to launch your engineering career offshore? We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Vessel Stimulation Engineer to join our dynamic team aboard the Island Patriot Vessel in Esbjerg. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fluid testing, QA/QC processes, and vessel-based engineering operations in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conduct laboratory testing of fluids and materials to support vessel stimulation operations
  • Assist senior engineers with QA/QC documentation, chemical reconciliations, and job reporting
  • Operate and maintain testing equipment in the vessel laboratories
  • Support R&D initiatives, fluid development, and vessel improvement projects
  • Uphold HSEQ standards and ensure safe handling of chemicals and equipment
  • Learn stimulation modelling software and North Sea Ecotoc regulations
  • Step into the Vessel Stimulation Engineer role when required during extended operations

 

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental responsibilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Organised, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement

 

Desirable Experience

  • Prior laboratory experience
  • Familiarity with fracture design concepts
  • Exposure to STIMPLAN or pressure analysis software
