Senior Accountant (QHJ6WK) Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of monthly and annual reports.
- Evaluate and review monthly financial statements, results of operations, income statements and financial records.
- Involved in handling the forecast and budgets.
- Formulate sales and gross margin reports and financial governance for the business.
- Support billing accountant with the collection process.
- Involved in operating monthly and yearly closing activities.
- Lead and facilitate the execution of new IT initiatives in SAP and other interfaces.
- Responsible for payroll posting and payment process entries and accruals in SAP.
Key requirements:
- Bachelors in Finance or Accounting with accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent)
- Preferably at least 3 years of experience within a multinational or complex business.
- Ideally worked within an energy or manufacturing industry experience.
- Technical competency with SAP and Hyperion.
- Must be familiar with the Middle East regulatory and tax compliance
