Your department/ team
- Business Partnering: Support and challenge department managers (and SFBP/CFO) to improve quality of the budget-control-cycle and management reporting.
- Reporting: Drive periodic management and financial reporting, and improve information flow between finance and the department managers. Improve and sustain timely, accurate and complete record-to-report process.
- Forecasting: Gather and consolidate forecasting data from different internal and external sources. Analyze and interpret the outcome and provide input for challenge sessions.
- Control and Governance: Ensure adherence by problem solving and independent monitoring of APMT control framework, authority matrix and adoption of central governance initiatives (e.g., PMWeb and Archer)
- Financial transparency: Ensure timely and high-quality financial reporting leading into management reporting with required decision support during financial performance.
- Investment Agenda: Support managers with quality replacement capex business cases to get timely approvals. Monitor total project portfolio with status-updates for LT reviews.
- Customer Centricity: Support in Calculation and analysis of the HUB Monitor how APMT MVII financially impacts Maersk Line.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Finance Performance Management -
- Ensure monthly closure of books happens as per (group) deadlines set up by the organization and review accruals and OneStream reporting.
- Ensure financial planning and control are accurate and in line with appropriate standards.
- Quality control the data in the OS for both actual and ROFO
- Assist terminal finance team to perform OS data analysis
- Drive cross functional performance management by conducting periodic PnL reviews and process confirmations.
- support terminal SFBP/CFO to work with business functions to understand what happened in the period
- Support requesting managers with information for management decision making (e.g., CAPEX policy, IP templates etc.)
- Prepare management information through combining financial with non-financial data and identifying the business drivers behind the financials (TPR, CFO Pack, P&L per department
- Prepare monthly HUB Calculation, ML Reporting and alignment calls. This includes ROA/RONA flow between MVII and Head office
- Perform and review Internal controls compliance (Archer CSA). Support other functions in their adherence to the group standards.
- Prepare and submit all mandatory reports to Dutch Central Bureau of Statistics. Keep track of all periodic reports and their deadlines. Involve other departments where necessary.
Business Partnering & Analytics:
- Monthly performance dashboards: Preparation of Monthly Terminal performance dash boards & helping terminal to update them further for monthly performance calls with region
- Terminal performance commentary: Preparation of terminal Monthly performance/ Flash commentary, coordinating with functions in the terminal for underlying business drivers.
- ROFO/Budget controlling: Must prepare exhaustive Forecast/Budgeting dashboards that helps better controlling & provide insights to terminal team
- Follow up with the functions on reported deviations versus target and forecast and ensure there is an understanding of why and that actions are taken
- Prepare monthly finance report such as ML Review, Flash Report and monthly finance call.
- Weekly Performance : Ensure to prepare weekly terminal scorecards with high accuracy (DSU)
- Clearly understand business needs and development reporting requests.
- Support & improve the quarterly financial forecast (RoFo)
- Work close with the functions to understand the business and the business need in form of reporting and KPIs
- Submit timely and accurate deliverables. Manage issues, exhaust all possible fix and escalate to appropriate desks for resolutions of issues
- Actively participate in the relevant Finance Business Partnering community to learn & share best-practices as needed.
- Risk Management: Support control performers in providing correct, timely and complete evidence. Monitor ERM-dashboard and check-up with main risk owners on status and mitigation plans.
- Cost Planning: Support SFBP in communication between region (finance and procurement) and MVII to drive cost planning agenda across the terminal through periodic reviews with budget owners. Control execution and ensure adherence to central reporting standards
- Labor Relations Support: FTE control, prepare FTE-tracker and maintain list of contractors.
- Adhoc reports and analysis as requested by SFBP/CFO
Your knowledge and experience
- Excellent knowledge in Finance domain – in financial reporting and preparing dashboards and financial analysis
- Result-driven and an individual contributor. Excellent multi-tasking abilities.
