Teletruck / Forklift Operator (3.5T) – Full Time

Major Recruitment are hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced 3.5T Teletruck/Forklift Operator to join a busy recycling and waste management site.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual with previous experience operating forklifts in an industrial or warehouse environment.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a teletruck/forklift to move, load, and relocate materials across the site. Duties will include handling baled materials, emptying tipping skips, and supporting general yard operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a 3.5T Teletruck/Forklift safely and efficiently

• Load and unload materials onto and off vehicles

• Transport and stack materials around the site

• Empty tipping skips and assist with yard organisation

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or malfunctions

• Follow all site health & safety procedures at all times

• Maintain accurate records where required

• Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth site operations

Requirements:

• Valid and in-date forklift/teletruck licence (essential)

• Previous experience operating forklifts in an industrial, recycling, or warehouse setting

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials when required

• Strong awareness of health & safety regulations

• Flexible attitude with weekend availability

• Full-time position

• Monday to Friday

• Weekend availability required
