We are currently seeking a motivated and organised Parts Advisor to join a well-established team based in Aberdeen.
 
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy and fast-paced stores department, reporting directly to the Parts Supervisor. The successful candidate will act as the main point of contact for workshop engineers, ensuring parts and materials are issued efficiently while supporting the wider stores operation as required.
 
This is a full-time position based on a 42.5-hour working week.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for workshop engineers, issuing parts and materials as required
  • Identify and source parts using computerised systems
  • Process parts purchasing and place orders through internal systems
  • Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels
  • Process material requisitions efficiently and accurately
  • Receive and check goods deliveries when required
  • Respond to enquiries via email and telephone
  • Support other areas of the stores department as needed

The ideal candidate:

  • Excellent communication and telephone skills
  • A conscientious and proactive approach to work
  • The ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads effectively
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Previous stores or warehouse experience
  • Experience within the Plant or Machinery Hire industry
  • A full valid driving licence
