HSE Manager (TMhsem) Stonehaven, Scotland
Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Manager, on behalf of a food manufacturing company. This position would be a Permanent, Full-Time position, based in Glenbervie, South of Stonehaven. This role will also cover a site near Glasgow, so travel will be required.
You will be responsible for:-
- Supporting the development of a strong Health and Safety focused culture across the business and promote good safety behaviours.
- Supporting the development of measurement systems to ensure that Health and Safety performance are accurately monitored
- Identifying possible operational risks or opportunities and working with operational teams to ensure an appropriate and effective response.
- Undertaking audits and inspections of the site, identifying areas for improvement, and reporting on the findings.
- Reviewing the production of risk assessments and method statements and answering any health and safety related queries.
