Research Lab Assistant, Sample Management

W2 Contract

Pay Rate: $30 - $40 per hour

Location: Redwood City, CA - Onsite Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated individual to play a support role as a research assistant for the Sample Management function. This individual will support the basic laboratory operations, including, but not limited to: keeping the laboratory space organized, stocking inventory, and assisting in basic day-to-day laboratory tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Research Associate(s) and Associate Scientist(s) with basic day-to-day laboratory tasks.
• Track and stock laboratory consumables; escalate to senior staff if consumables reach low stock.
• Triage and route packages received in Sample Management to the appropriate receiver.
• Maintain laboratory organization and cleanliness.
• Organize cold storage as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
