Daily tasks:
Contacting the suppliers of parts and/or materials in food contact and drive the work of getting Suppliers Declaration of Compliance (DoCp). The job is also about supporting suppliers and answering their questions when they are in the process of sending the necessary information to the client. DoCp will be controlled by in-house expertise before acceptance.
Who are you:
- Some experience in regulatory matters and/ or legislation on food and safety. General understanding of supply management.
- Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills as well as persuasive skills.
- Chemical engineer/food technologist
- Legislation on materials in food contact
Your personality is more important than previous experience in supplier management. You need to have the ability to communicate in a clear and polite way even when confronted with resistance or conflicting information. You needs to be persistent, have a drive and self-motivation to keep reminding or asking suppliers and supplier managers about the right information.
