Job Title: Commercial/Procurement Officer
Job Type: Permanent 
Start Date: ASAP – depending on security clearance
Salary: DOE
Location: Bristol, UK
Hours of work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday – 2-3 days per week in office/onsite

What You’ll Do
•    Develop procurement and commercial documentation (e.g. strategy, tender documents etc.), leading where appropriate.
•    Manage contracts end to end
•    Manage supplier performance
•    Identify and mitigate risks
•    Support tendering and negotiation activity
•    Ensure governance and compliance

What You Will Bring
•    Experience in procurement or contract management
•    Some experience of managing risks and supplier performance
•    Understanding of project/programme management
•    Strong commercial judgement

Qualifications
•    Professional qualification(s) in Business, Procurement/Supply Chain Management, Law, Project Management or a similar relevant discipline, or an equivalent level of relevant experience. This may include being part way through the study of these qualifications.
•    Trained in, or holds a sufficient level of experience in public sector procurement.

Bonus Skills
•    Government procurement experience
•    Knowledge of NEC, FIDIC or JCT
