Location: Leicester, LE1 6TR
Working Days / Hours: 37 hours Monday - Friday
Working Pattern: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.86 per hour

You’ll use excellent communication and careful administration to ensure users are heard, supported, and guided to the right place-quickly, clearly, and professionally.

What you’ll be doing:
• Undertake administration to prepare for, facilitate and conclude hearings
• Provide face-to-face, telephone (incoming and outbound), and written support in a range of formats, signposting users to the right services and support
• Use HMCTS service scripts and knowledge to give clear, consistent information-especially where needs may be specific or complex
• Follow complaints policies and procedures, respond promptly to prevent escalation, and keep records updated as required
• Assist with operational support, processing work through standard operating procedures to meet performance targets and service standards
• Handle case files with accurate data entry and secure information management, following retention and data loss protocols
• Support jury service tasks including selection, deferral, reassignment and attendance tracking, plus processing related expenses and court fees
• Help with listing and scheduling, including responsiveness to urgent matters and adherence to listing policies
• Contribute to enforcement support, including financial assessments, aiding fine collection, and producing basic statistical/financial reports
• Support health and safety operations (such as PEEPs, facility checks, issue logging, and key/safety governance under team leader guidance)
• Identify risks relating to HMCTS buildings and inform the Senior Person on Site as required

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with experience managing records, case files, correspondence and day-to-day office processes
  • Good IT skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office, databases and other digital systems to maintain accurate records and support effective service delivery
  • Confident communication skills-empathetic, clear and able to support people with different needs
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate records, case file handling and compliance
  • A calm, proactive approach-able to follow procedures while handling urgent situations
  • Clear commitment to service standards and continuous improvement
