Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader
Job Location: Raynesway, Derby
Hours: 0600 - 1400 , 1400 - 2200 , 2200 - 0600
Pay rate - £13.92ph
Gi Group have immediate starts available for Warehouse Team Leader’s to be based on site. You will be reporting to the Warehouse Support Managers on a rotating shift basis (3 shifts)
We are working with a large drink’s distribution centre with excellent facilities and a nice clean organised environment.
The location is just off Raynesway on the outskirts of Alvaston so a great location to be able to get to.
The key responsibilities include:
• The supervision of a team of Warehouse Operatives and prioritisation of all duties to ensure that service criteria and operational deadlines are achieved across the contract
• The supervision and control of all goods inward and outward processes
• To ensure that all dispatch documentation meets operational requirements
• To provide KPI/Management Information relating to operational activities
• To implement structured development programs for direct reports, to achieve a multi-skilled work team
• To ensure that all direct reports adhere to all company policies and procedures relating to the warehouse function
• To identify and implement best working practices via continual process review and discussion with direct reports
• To provide resource solutions ensuring that Warehouse activities support operational and customer requirements
• Ensuring that Health & Safety requirements are adhered to, to provide a safe working environment
This is a great opportunity available for someone who is flexible enough to become a Warehouse Team Leader. To be successful in this role you will have excellent time management skills, sound operational knowledge and strong communication skills. Knowledge of SAP and Excel is also preferable
