Our top client based in the heart of the CBD is currently seeking a temporary assistant accountant to join its team on an on-going basis. This position requires someone with a good level of experience in accountancy that enjoys having a focus on accounts receivable as this will likely make up 60% of the role.
The ideal candidate for this position will be immediately available, have fantastic communication skills as well amazing attention to detail. Previous experience in all round accounting is essential
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconciliations
- Accurate processing of payments and invoices
- AR duties (60% of the role)
- Preparing financial records
- Assisting with budgeting
- Admin support to the AR & Payroll
- Dealing with suppliers and stakeholders
- Balancing creditors ledgers
Key Skills/Experience Required:
- Previous experience in an assistant accountant position
- Keen eye for detail
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Confident skills on all Microsoft office packages
- Immediately available and able to work full time in an ongoing capacity.
