Assistant Accountant - AR Focus

$35.00 - $40.00 Per Hour + Super

Our top client based in the heart of the CBD is within the association sector and prides itself on having a fantastic work culture. Now currently recruiting for a temporary Assistant Accountant, we are looking for candidates that have a minimum of 3 years experience working in an all rounded accounting position that enjoy doing a variety of tasks. 

The ideal candidate for this position will be immediately available, have fantastic communication skills as well amazing attention to detail. Previous experience in all round accounting is essential. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurate processing of payments and invoices
• Preparing financial records
• AR duties (60% of the role)
• Reconciliations
• Assisting with budgeting
• Admin support to the AR & Payroll
• Dealing with suppliers and stakeholders
• Balancing creditors ledgers

Key Skills/Experience Required:

• Previous experience in an assistant accountant position - minimum of 3 years. 
• Keen eye for detail
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Confident skills on all Microsoft office packages
• Immediately available and able to work full time in an ongoing capacity.
