Unidex Healthcare are seeking a compassionate, reliable Support Workers to partner with a young adult living in Mackay.

Our participant has a spinal cord injury and is looking for someone who can provide personalized, respectful, and consistent support to help maintain independence and quality of life.

Available Shifts:

• Primarily 4 -6 hour afternoon shifts
• Some weekend shifts

Duties of the role:

• Assisting with personal care
• Conducting bowel therapy (administering enema and digital stimulation)
• Assisting with domestic tasks
• Manual handling such as hoisting and transfers
• Administering medication
• Assisting with parental support

Skills & Experience:

• Australian Driver's License
• Certificate III in Individual Support
• Current National Police Clearance within 12 months
• Current Blue & Yellow Card
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
• Reliable, proactive, and positive attitude
• Medication administration certificate or willing to obtain
• Two references are required!
