Application Developer - Java & Web Technologies – SC Cleared
Location: 2-3 Months in Croydon then based in Leicester
Duration: Until January 2021
Pay: Market Rate (PAYE or Umbrella Only)
Required Skill: Required Skills:
• Experience in building and supporting Java API services utilising Apache Camel and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Experience of Dev Ops CI / CD pipelines utilising Jenkins, GitLab, Maven and Artifactory.
• Experience of Test Driven Development, Cucumber, Junit.
• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and deliver high-availability and performance in a Cloud environment.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle – estimations.
• Complete applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
• Create documentation and assistance tools.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
Nice to have’s:
• An understanding of Agile methods
• Familiarity of SQL and non SQL databases
• Familiarity of Search Indexers
• Familiarity of Wiremock
• Experience of delivery to Public Sector clients
