TREASURY MANAGER - FRONT OFFICE

 

This role is integral to the company's operations, offering an exciting opportunity to manage treasury transactions for European business units and drive efficiency improvements in treasury processes. The successful candidate will be based in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, and will work closely with internal teams and external counterparts such as banks and auditors.


What you'll do:


As Treasury Manager, you will: 

  • Manage all aspects of the Treasury’s transactional services towards the European business units.
  • Ensure timely placement of treasury transactions, focusing on cash management and risk mitigation.
  • Manage the European cash pool operations, ensuring sufficient funding is available.
  • Gather fuel volumes for the European operating units and propose what fuel hedging is required.
  • Work within policy and governance frameworks to make loans to the European operating units.
  • Monitor and ensure that any requested bank guarantees are being issued by the Treasury service centre.


What you bring:


The ideal candidate brings a wealth of experience from a Corporate Treasury team of a multinational business.

You have:  

  • Minimum undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting.
  • A recognized Treasury qualification, e.g., ACT.
  • Min 6 years experience in a Corporate Treasury team of a multinational business.
  • Extensive experience in a full range of treasury management issues.
  • Knowledge working with TMS (ION Reval is a bonus)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Dutch language is a bonus)
  • Strong negotiation and project management skills.
