The Best Connection are working with our client to recruit a counterbalance forklift Operative to work at their new site based in Bermondsey, Southeast London.

We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operative to work on an ongoing basis as our client opens and begins to run their new unit based within Bermondsey, South East London.

Responsibilities of the Counterbalance Forklift Operative will include but not be limited to

·        Operating a 4.5T counterbalance forklift

·        Assisting with warehouse duties including stock unloading, sorting and manual handling

·        Using an FLT to help unload deliveries and stack pallets

·        Adhering to all health and safety Operations on a day-to-day basis

Requirements of the Counterbalance of the Forklift Operative

·        Ability to travel to Bermondsey, Southeast London Independently

·        Certification and experience using a Counterbalance Forklift

·        Ability to work as part of a wider team environment

·        Flexibility to work additional hours as and when required

Hours of work

·        Will be 08:00-17:00 on a Monday to Friday basis.

Rates of pay

·        £13.75 per hour
