Senior DataOps Engineer

36 - 40 hours per week

 Our client is seeking an experienced Data Ops Engineer. This candidate will be accountable for developing and supporting infrastructure dedicated to data ingestion, processing, and analytics requirements. The ideal applicant should possess a background in creating scalable and dependable data platforms, with a particular emphasis on ensuring security, stability, and transparency.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in DataOps, DevOps, Data Engineering, or related fields.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Solid comprehension of data management principles, data integration techniques, and data quality assurance.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and scripting languages.
• Experience with data integration tools, ETL frameworks, and data pipeline orchestration platforms (e.g., Apache Airflow, Apache Kafka, AWS Glue).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services (e.g., S3, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling.
• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
