We are seeking a reliable and Customer Service call handler  to join our team in Exeter. This is a winter temporary role supporting call centre operations at a busy Exeter Transport Office , offering a structured 6-month contract and the opportunity to contribute to a busy, customer-focused logistics environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Support logistics and operational activities for the Exeter site during the winter period.
• Assist with day-to-day coordination tasks to ensure smooth workflow across the site.
• Help maintain accurate handling and movement of relevant items and documentation in line with site procedures.
• Follow operational instructions and escalation routes where issues or delays occur.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to meet service and operational requirements.
• Maintain a professional approach to safety, quality, and compliance at all times.
• Complete required records and support effective handovers as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work to operational schedules.
• Good attention to detail to support accurate processing and documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions accurately.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for completing records and understanding instructions.
• Comfort working in a busy operational environment with competing priorities.
• Good communication skills, including the ability to report issues clearly to the line manager.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, or operational support roles is desirable.
• Awareness of workplace safety practices and willingness to follow site procedures.
