Yard Person/Forklift Driver (Temporary with Potential for Permanent)

Location: Stalbridge

Salary: £13.60 per hour

Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Person to join our team in Stalbridge on a temporary basis, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading gas cylinders safely using a counterbalance forklift.
• Organising and maintaining the yard to a high standard.
• Carrying out stock movements and basic stock checks.
• Assisting with deliveries and collections as required.
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Supporting the wider depot team with day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).
• Full Category B Driving Licence (essential).
• Previous experience working in a yard, warehouse, or similar environment.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and physically fit.
