PHP (Magento2) Full Stack Developer: Due to exciting, sustained growth an ambitious PHP Full Stack Developer with Magento experience is required to join one of the top creative digital marketing agencies in the South of England.
The Magento Developer will join The Just Brand, a full-service design, development and marketing agency based in Petersfield in the heart of the South Downs. Recent contract wins have created a new opportunity for a full-time, office based, Full Stack Magento Developer to work collaboratively with eCommerce clients on bespoke, predominantly PHP based projects. Previous experience with Magento, preferably Magento2, is required. Any bias towards a Back End skill set would also be beneficial.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a small, profitable and dynamic team for a fully-funded, privately owned agency run by entrepreneurs with a genuine passion for providing clients with industry-leading service.
Responsibilities:
• Provide an exciting roadmap of features to meet clients’ eCommerce platform and CMS requirements
• Developing modern, fast eCommerce websites using Magento2.
• Developing in other web frameworks and CMS such as Laravel and Wordpress
• Create custom Extensions in addition to being well-versed in front end development of Magento and other eCommerce CMS
Skills & Experience:
• Knowledge of Magento2 (Magento as a minimum) core framework and architecture
• A good all-round Full Stack developer skill set
• Good JS and CSS skills
• Excellent understanding of Web Services - REST API's
• TDD, especially the development of unit tests
• A good understanding of a good user experience of CMS systems
• Programming techniques, including OOP (Object Oriented Programming)
• Well versed in Database and data manipulation and data migrations
• Excellent web and database programming skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• WordPress, Laravel and Craft CMS knowledge
• A very good understanding of Vanilla JavaScript and jQuery, HTML5
• Good CSS styling skills (SASS and SCSS)
• Good UI design and development skills on the frontend
• Understanding of GIT version control
• Experience using Google Datastore and Google Cloud App Engine (desirable)
• AWS (desirable)
