Sales Managers: Two experienced and ambitious sales Managers are required to join one the UK’s largest industrial sealant manufacturers. Join this leading family run business, established for almost 50 years, as it continues to grow. The company leads the way in sealant manufacturing, operates its own in-house R&D facility, and exports to over 25 countries.

Two Sales Managers are required to manage and develop key market sectors: Transportation & Leisure, and Building Solutions (roofing, cladding and HVAC), so any experience selling into these industries would be beneficial. Candidates must be located within 3 hours of Beverley.

Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, the Sales Managers will be responsible for substantially growing profitable sales through maintaining relationships with existing accounts and acquiring new customers.

These are exciting opportunities for Sales Managers to become experts in their assigned sectors, working closely with the marketing teams to ensure products are presented in a compelling way to clients to increase sales.


Responsibilities:
• Quickly gain a good understanding of the company, it’s culture, its products and market sectors
• Engage with target new customers and close profitable sales
• Build relationships with existing customers to increase both the range and volume of products sold
• Form close working relationships with Marketing and Technical Marketing; ensuring that products are presented in the most professional and compelling way
• Work with the Marketing Executive, to create profiles of attractive, qualified potential customers which will then form the target of marketing and sales activity
• Become the “Commercial Expert” in your industry, building a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, pricing, customers and competition – ensuring all key intelligence is communicated to Marketing and used effectively
• Understand and use the company CRM system to best effect, maintaining all up to date customer details and communications
• Honestly and diligently report sales performance and pipeline


Skills and experience:
• An experienced Sales Manager from a technical B2B environment
• A sales professional who loves what they do
• A proven track record of success in new business and existing account development
• Honest, enthusiastic, and well presented
• Competitive, focused, and motivated
• A self-starter - able to handle challenge & rejection
• A skilled negotiator, financially astute and numerate
• Able to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team to maximise success
• Computer literate with good MS Office skills
• Experience in building materials, sealants or adhesives desirable but not essential
• Technically aware and confident in specification / application driven sales
