Assembly Operative

We have immediate start for our growing client in Wellingborough as an Assembly Operative.

Details 

Salary - £12.75 per hour

Working Hours are – 0800 – 1600 Monday – Friday

Location – Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

Duration – Temp to perm, 12 weeks

Role of an Assembly Operative

• Building products on the assembly line according to drawings and/or instructions.
• Following safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly.
• Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects.
• Loading product pieces for assembly onto the line
• Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections on the assembly line to management.
• Some heavy lifting can be involved in your daily role
• Use of hand tools such as, Stanley Knife, file, saw

Requirements for an Assembly Operative

• Good knowledge and experience of using of hand tools
• Ability to read drawings and measurements
• Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good physical stamina
• Confident communicator
