Test manager

£700 per day - umbrella

6 month initial contract

London/Bournemouth – Hybrid

The Test Manager will work closely alongside the Head of QA to lead and deliver testing activity across regulatory / compliance/ change programmes within the business. The role is accountable for ensuring that all regulatory-driven changes are tested effectively, meet business and regulatory expectations, and are delivered with controlled risk.

• Proven experience as a Test Manager delivering within insurance or financial services.
• Strong experience testing regulatory or compliance-driven programmes.
• Solid understanding of insurance systems, processes, and data flows.
• Experience managing and coordinating third‑party or offshore testing suppliers.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with Compliance and senior leaders.
• Strong knowledge of structured test methodologies and test governance.
• Ability to assess risk and provide clear, pragmatic assurance.
