Compliance Manager – Part Time

Hours: 24 hours per week, ideally over 3 days – flexible on days and working hours

About the Role

Our client is looking for an organised and proactive Compliance Manager to support their management team across compliance, Health & Safety, audits, processes and administration.

This is a varied role within a busy office and manufacturing environment, suited to someone who is organised, able to multitask and confident taking ownership of their responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain records for Health & Safety, audits and compliance, including machine checks and accident records.
  • Coordinate ongoing requirements for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SMETA, FSC and PEFC.
  • Manage fire safety requirements, Fire Marshal meetings and building maintenance records.
  • Monitor employee training requirements including First Aid, Fire Safety and Forklift training.
  • Log and monitor NCRs, ensuring corrective actions are followed up.
  • Attend daily production meetings and provide feedback on compliance or safety issues.
  • Organise monthly Managers' Meetings, including agendas and action points.
  • Maintain supplier and visitor records.
  • Manage office/factory stationery and marketing collateral.
  • Support the Executive Assistant and wider team with ad hoc administration.
  • Assist the External Sales Team with customer sample requests and sample packs.

About You

The successful candidate will be:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proactive and able to work independently.
  • Experienced in compliance, administration, Health & Safety or a similar role.
  • A confident communicator who works well across different departments.

Experience within manufacturing, print or production would be advantageous, although transferable experience will be considered.

Package

  • £18,000 per annum

  • Flexible on which 3 days and the daily working hours, subject to business requirements
