Contract role - API Integration SME – Hybrid/Milton Keynes – 12 months initial – Inside IR35

We are currently cooperating with a financial services customer in Milton Keynes so we are looking for an API Integration SME, you will join a highly experienced and Lean and Agile Squad/Pod of Architects and Integration Specialists, engaged on a new Business, Data & Technology Transformation programme.
This is an exciting programme spanning 2 to 3 years, with an initial 11-to-12-month FTC/Salary commitment.
As an API Integration SME will provide proactive integration API development and support.
API Integration SME will have previous experience of supporting and developing client integrations and have an excellent technical knowledge of API’s, preferably using Postman or similar tools.
• Experience in developing and managing API integrations including REST, SOAP Web APIs
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience with different authentication methods for APIs
• Knowhow with developing wrappers for complex API
• Experience with Redhat 3 scale and AWS API Gateway features such as encryption, encoding etc ideally
• Experience and familiarity with cognitive, automation, and related emerging technologies and techniques
• Experience with POSTMAN, C# and .NET framework would be advantageous
• Previous exposure to SQL Databases and SQL Server Management Studio
• Extensive exposure and experience to REST API technologies and JSON payloads
• Experience with Broad-based general technology ecosystem
API Integration SME will work in hybrid mode – 2 days remote and 3 days on-site (Milton Keynes) per week
