Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.
The Role:
We have multiple clients throughout the Tamworth region with diverse needs and a variety of vacancies to fill. We are looking for experienced support workers who are committed to delivering high-quality care and are eager to contribute to the success of our team.

Our participants require a variety of support services tailored to their individual needs. This may include assistance with personal care, daily living tasks, mobility, medication management, meal preparation, and community engagement. Some roles also involve capacity building, promoting independence, or supporting and managing behaviours of concern. You may help with household duties such as cleaning and cooking, or facilitate access to social and recreational activities. Each role gives you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, supporting individuals to achieve their goals while building relationships.
All current vacancies are an Immediate Start. Part-time hours, full-time hours and split shifts are all available.
Pay Rates:
- Day shift $38.75 per hour
- Afternoon shift $42.63 per hour
- Night Shift $43.40 per hour
- Saturday shift $54.25 per hour
- Sunday shift $69.75 per hour
- $0.99 travel allowance per km (applies only when travelling with participant to and from appointments.
Skills & Experiences:
- Australian Driver Licence
- Current National Police Clearance
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
- A minimum of 6 months of experience as a support worker, or relevant experience in a similar role
- Have excellent communication skills and a passion for making a difference
