About the role:
As a Freight Forklift Operator you are responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack freight, materials, or products within a warehouse or distribution center. The role ensures that all goods are stored properly, transported efficiently, and handled with care to avoid damage.

• Putaways: Efficiently organizing and storing incoming inventory in designated locations.
• Replenishment: Ensuring that stock levels are maintained and replenished as needed to support operations.
• Loading and Unloading: Safely loading and unloading trucks and containers, ensuring all items are handled with care and placed in the right locations.
• Picking and Packing: Accurately picking items from inventory based on orders and securely packing them for shipment.
• RF Scanning: Utilizing radio frequency (RF) scanning technology to track inventory movements and maintain accurate records.
• Receiving: Processing inbound shipments, checking for accuracy, and documenting received goods.
• Dispatch: Preparing and coordinating outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Inventory Control: Monitoring stock levels and conducting regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies.
• Stacking and Wrapping Pallets: Effectively stacking pallets for storage and transport, ensuring stability and safety during handling.

Shift:

• 9am to 5pm (Occasional Overtime if required)

• Prestons

Requiremets

• Available Monday - Friday 38hrs MINIMUM a week
• Be able to lift 15kg to 25kg HEAVY LIFT
• Be reliable and punctual to ALL rostered shifts
• Experience in operating a Crown Forklift
• Reliable transportation is a MUST as there is limited public transport to all site
