Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist support and contribute to the planning and organising of work for junior team members.
- Provide advanced technical support for complex applications, ensuring prompt issue resolution and minimising downtime
- Ensure the effective resolution of service requests by adhering to defined service level agreements (SLAs) to maintain and uphold a high standard of service delivery while contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of application support.
- Conduct in-depth root cause analysis for recurring issues, proposing, and implementing preventive measures to enhance system reliability.
- Conduct the installation and upgrading of software, ensuring seamless integration of automation processes for elevated system performance and efficiency.
- Act as the designated point of contact for emergencies, coordinating prompt and effective responses to critical incidents.
Requirements:
- Overall 5-8 years of experience in Application Support preferably for the financial industry.
- Proficient with Agile methodology, continuous integration and continuous development pipelines
- Proficient with understanding and supporting Document management systems preferably OpenText DMS
- Proficient with Front End and Back End website support -Sitecore Next JS technologies a plus as well as java based applications
- Proficient with scripting and automation tools
- Working experience with backend languages such as – Java and .Net
- Working experience in cloud (Azure preferred) and deploying Software AG releases cross all environments. (On-Cloud)
- Working experience in database querries (preferred mssql, sql)
- Working experience in Web Services (REST, SOAP, GraphQL (preferred).
- Working experience of Monitoring the performance of API’s.
- Good understanding of mobile app support and proficient with react native for android and iPhone preferred
- Previous experience with any software integrations applications support
